We are excited to announce that we will be participating in the 20th Meeting of the Spanish Society for Neuroscience 2025, which is held right here in our home city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria! Our team will be presenting three posters on Thursday (September 4) and Friday (September 5), showcasing some of our latest research.
Karolina Horváth will present a poster titled “Individual differences in the interplay between predictive processing and executive control among subclinical traits” (Poster 452, Session 5). This research explores how people with ADHD-like traits affect the interplay between their ability to predict events and their capacity for executive control.
Teodóra Vékony will present a poster titled “Mind wandering simultaneously disrupts inhibition and enhances statistical learning” (Poster 434, Session 4). Her work investigates the dual impact of mind wandering, suggesting that while it can disrupt inhibitory control, it may also improve statistical learning.
Adrienn Holczer will present a poster titled “Can the Enhancement of Midfrontal Theta Decrease Predictive Learning?” (Poster 549, Session 3). This research explores whether enhancing midfrontal theta, can lead to a changes in predictive learning.
We hope to see you there!
