Our research group was awarded the PID grant from AEI for the 2nd consecutive year

We are thrilled to share some extraordinary news: for the second year in a row – and twice within the two years since our group was founded – we have been awarded the prestigious Proyectos de Generación de Conocimiento Grant, securing €151,000 in research funding for 3 years. As Spain’s primary competitive research grant, this award represents a major benchmark for scientific excellence in the country.

Our winning proposal, titled “Why Children Are Superior Implicit Skill Learners: Developmental Dynamics of Slow Oscillatory Activity and Prefrontal Inhibition,” will explore the neural mechanisms underlying developmental differences in implicit learning.

Securing this top national grant two consecutive times is a huge milestone for us. It serves as a powerful validation of the scientific value and impact of our research, while highlighting the dedication and hard work of our entire team.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Ministry and funding agency for their trust, as well as to all our team members and partners whose contributions made this achievement possible. Fueled by this momentum, we look forward to advancing our research further. Stay tuned to our website for future updates on our project’s progress and findings!
