Post-doctoral researcher position
The Gran Canaria Cognitive Research Center at the Universidad del Atlántico Medio (UNAM) invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in the fields of cognitive psychology and cognitive neuroscience. UNAM is a dynamic, research-oriented private university located in the vibrant city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team exploring key topics including:
- Implicit statistical learning
- Executive functions
- Predictive processing
- Learning and memory
What we’re looking for:
We are seeking a motivated researcher with a background in cognitive psychology, neuroscience, or related disciplines. The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in designing, organizing, and conducting empirical experiments
- Skills in data analysis and programming (e.g., in R or Python)
- Familiarity with cognitive neuroscience methods (e.g., EEG, noninvasive brain stimulation) – a plus, but not mandatory
- An interest in theoretical and empirical work at the intersection of cognition, learning, and brain function
- Spanish language skills are considered an asset but are not requires
