We are thrilled to share that our PhD student, Inés Botia, has published a new paper in Scientific Reports titled “No gender differences in predictive processing.”

Are the fundamental building blocks of cognition gender-neutral?

Our latest study demonstrates that implicit statistical learning—the core mechanism the brain uses to detect regularities and build predictions about the world—is remarkably similar in women and men.

These findings strongly support the idea that the most fundamental mechanisms underlying human cognition are robust across gender.
